From our Portsmouth base (just off the A27 at Farlington), we provide print, mailing and design services across all sectors including: pharmaceutical, professional sports clubs, charities, education, manufacturing, theatres, venues and hospitality. Trusted by trade print professionals, 70% of our clients are marketing agencies, other printers, brokers and publishers.

Digital Marketing Executive - office based
From our conception in 1985, we have spent the last 4 decades building a group comprising The Graphic Design House, Bishops Printers and The Mailing People, proudly offering design, print and mail to businesses all over the UK. We're looking for a digital marketer able to bring all three of our company brands to life.
The Role
Working with the Marketing Manager, you will plan and execute integrated digital campaigns across email, websites, social media and paid advertising to generate leads, nurture and create relationships, and support customer retention. You will be instrumental in creating content as well as measuring and optimising its success.
Responsibilities
Email Marketing
- Plan, build and execute email marketing campaigns using Campaign Monitor.
- Analyse performance metrics to refine campaigns and grow engagement.
Website
- Create and edit Wordpress web pages.
- implement tagging/tracking.
- Monitor and report on performance using GA4.
- Manage our PPC and SEO campaigns through our digital marketing agency.
Social Media
- Plan, manage and execute social media campaigns (LinkedIn, Instagram).
- Respond to comments and engage with posts from our target audience.
Content Creation
- With the Marketing Manager, devise content plans that repurpose assets (where possible) across all 3 businesses.
- Use Canva templates to create graphics for email and social media posts.
- Create video content for social media posts.
- Liaise with our in-house graphic design agency to create campaign assets.
- Write engaging copy for email marketing campaigns, web landing pages, blogs, social media posts and other digital resources, adjusting your writing style and tone of voice according to the medium, brand and target audience.
You will need
- Min 12-18 months of broad digital marketing experience across email, web and social media.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent written English and copywriting skills.
- Adept working with GA4.
- Experience of Canva
- Experience with PPC/SEO
- Understanding of digital GDPR regulations and how to implement them.
- An analytical approach, supported by strong creative and communication skills.
- Great communication skills, resourceful and a team player.
- This is an office-based role.
Preferred
- Degree in Marketing
- Experience of managing agency relationships.
- Experience with email automation
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Premier Pro/Indesign/Photoshop)
- Experience of social media management tools
