Technology Manager

Bishops Printers is one of the UK’s premier commercial print companies, a print company that is proud to have invested in the latest and best technologies available. As part of our continued technology adoption projects, we require a hands on IT Manager skilled in Windows Server, Azure System Administrator and Apple Mac support to join our technology team.

You will be responsible for IT security, vendor management, infrastructure and user support, and will be expected to play a key role in future technology projects. Upcoming projects include further migration to the Azure platform, implementation of integrated CRM, ecommerce platform refresh.

The ideal candidate would have least 3 years’ experience of Microsoft Server Administration, Azure Administration and some level of Apple Mac support.  Also, previous experience in IT Manager / Supervisor roles is an essential, with evidence of people management and good communication skills.

Relevant certifications include but are not limited to:

  • Microsoft Azure Administrator
  • Microsoft 365 Messaging Administrator
  • CompTIA Network + or CCNA

Essential expertise:

  • at least 3 years’ experience of application configuration, integrations and support.
  • ability to create, test and execute DR plan.
  • demonstrable experience of IT project implementation.

Windows Systems Administrator

Our busy Technology Team is requires a full time, experienced Level 2 qualified System Administrator to join them. Responsible for infrastructure and user support, IT security, as well as playing a key role in future technology projects, this is a full-scope role. Upcoming projects include further migration to the Azure platform, implementation of accountancy platform new features, ecommerce platform refresh.

The ideal candidate will have or be working towards relevant and current Microsoft administration certifications. They will be able to administer Office 365, have strong networking skills and evidence of at least 3 years’ experience of a similar role.

Knowledge of commercial print is desirable, but it is not essential.

Finance Assistant

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for your next big opportunity? We'd like to invite you to consider joining one of the largest commercial printing firms in the South of England, with a diverse range of clients and ambitious growth plans.

 What will my new role involve?

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to support our Finance Team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a basic understanding of accounting principles. This is a full time office based role working Monday to Friday, 8:30-5:30pm.

Essentials

  • At least a years’ experience in a similar role
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • A high level of numeracy
  • The ability to communicate adeptly in writing and verbally
  • Possess good organisational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with purchase and sales ledgers ensuring accurate and timely recording and processing of information
  • Help to maintain debtor’s control, deal with invoice and payment queries and to chase overdue payments
  • Administrative support for the accounts team
  • Supporting month end procedures ensuring timely completion of tasks to facilitate accurate reporting

Qualifications:

  • A-levels or equivalent
  • Solid experience of using Microsoft Office incl. Excel
  • Ability to manage & prioritise a variety of tasks
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work within a team
