Bishops Printers has been a family run business based in the water front city of Portsmouth since 1985. From humble beginnings with a a staff of just three people and a small 2-colour printer in a garage, we now employ over 180 people at our 85,000 square foot facility.
Twenty four hours a day, seven days a week we offer state of the art B2 lithographic and digital printing as well as machine and hand finishing, all underpinned with a next generation print management system.
We offer print solutions from a small batch of leaflets to thousands of brochures or reports.
In a year we print 288 million B2 sheets of paper, produce 63 million saddle stitched books, 5.4 million perfect bound books, fold 283 million sheets and post out 10.8 million items.
Always at the sharp end of the market
Our print quotations remain valid for 30 days. Over the years we've faced fluctuations, peaks and troughs and this year is no different. We continue to use our experience, our strengths and our position as a top 100 printer to avoid passing on costs where we can, and to minimise those we can't.
This is just a quick email to complement you on your staff. Until now, I have tended to use smaller printing firms in the fear that I might be treated as an insignificant customer by a large and established firm like yours. However, I've been pleasantly surprised by the care and attention given to us. Even the gentleman who drives your forklift truck in the loading bay was nice to deal with today.
I don't know much about your business at all but if part of your commercial strategy is "treat the customer as you would like to be treated" then you're onto a winner. Oh, and the printing's good too.
