Bishops B5 (245mm x 172mm)
We also offer an additional size that we refer to as ‘Bishops B5’. It is very popular when booklets and brochures need to stand out against other A and B sized publications. It also has the cost advantage of enabling you to fit more pages on a single sheet than B5.
Think About Postage Costs
If your printed materials are being mailed, paper size can have a surprisingly large impact on your budget.
Publications sized A5 to A10 can usually be sent at the Royal Mail Letter rate when enclosed in a C5 or DL envelope, provided the finished item is no more than 5mm thick and weighs under 100g.
By comparison, an A4 publication will normally attract Large Letter postage rates. For high-volume mailings, folding an A4 document to A5 or choosing a smaller finished size from the outset can save thousands of pounds in postage.
Our team can advise on the most cost-effective specification if your project includes mailing.
