We are currently seeking...

Prepress Operators

We are currently looking to expand our Prepress Department in our Portsmouth factory and need to recruit two forward thinking Prepress Operators to fulfill fundamental roles in our existing team.

The role will involve preparing files for output using the latest Heidelberg and Enfocus software, imposing files using Signa Station and editing PDF’s using an editing application. You need to be a team player, able to work in a fast pace environment and flexible in your approach, with the ability to multi task.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Basic knowledge of Heidelberg Prinect would be a distinct advantage, though comprehensive training and support will be given to the right candidate.

Hand Finishing Operators

Due to a growth in demand we are looking for hand finishing operators to work within our busy hand finishing team producing final products to the required output levels to meet business and customer needs. 

You will hand finish jobs by way of folding, creasing, gluing, drilling, collating, shrink wrapping and/or cutting out.

You must be a team player who can work quickly and accurately to produce excellent work and minimal waste. You will confidently read, understand and act on the instructions within our job bags.

We’re looking for self-motivated people with a can do, positive attitude to succeed in these roles. You must have a strong work ethic and be able to cope well under pressure, thriving when working to tight deadlines.

We are looking for individuals to work 42 hours per week on average across a two week shift pattern consisting of 12 hours per shift (6am to 6pm), and willing to support occasional requests for flexibility and/or the opportunity for overtime.

Experienced Print Finishers

Are you looking for your next career move?  Are you looking for a new challenge?  Do you thrive in constantly changing, forward-thinking environments?  Are you an experienced Folding or Stitching Operator? If you've answered yes to these questions we would love to hear from you.

We're growing, improving and investing all the time and we are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and loyal individuals to join our Folding and Stitching teams.

You will have experience of one or more of the following machines - Stahl, Heidelberg and/or Wohlenberg with a good mechanical aptitude and the ability to read, understand and follow instructions.

Self-motivated, you will work well as part of a diverse technical team and you will always exhibit a positive attitude leading by example.  There will be a requirement to lift heavy weights and stand for long periods of time. 

We are looking for day and night operators with day workers working 42 hours per week on a continental shift pattern, and nights will be 48 hours per week over 4 nights.

The successful candidates will be given comprehensive training and support. The positions will be based in Farlington, Portsmouth, and offer an attractive, competitive salary, together with great working conditions, consistent with one of the areas largest leading employees.  There are occasional requests for flexibility and/or the opportunity for overtime.
